The garden at Summerdale has been opening regularly for the last 9 years through the national gardens scheme raising money for several charities. Dates for 2012:

Following Sundays (11am-5pm)

February 19,26- Snowdrops and hellebores

April 1,8-  Spring bulbs, hellebores.

May 6- Early tulips and woodland planting at peak

June 3-Tulips, herbaceous borders and roses.

July 1-Herbaceous borders at peak.

August 5-Hot borders and exotic garden.

September 2-Gain inspiration for late summer colour

In addition from April to end of August we welcome visits every Friday(except June 8th). An opportunity for those who cannot make our main open days or prefer to avoid the crowd. Perhaps an opportunity to combine a visit to the nursery?.

Private visits on other days are also welcome by prior appointment for groups of 8 or more.
