SUMMERDALE
Summerdale Garden Nursery developed as we propagated increasing numbers of plants to use in the garden. Sales were so successful on our first National Gardens Scheme open day that in 2003 we decided to open the nursery full time.We are now dedicated to growing an increasing range of interesting shade loving perennials in particular a large collection of Primula, Meconopsis and Hellebores.
In addition we grow a large range of cottage garden plants suitable for any garden.
Almost all of our plants are propagated on the nursery either from seed, cuttings or splits and are grown on outside to withstand the weather Cumbrian winters can throw at them.
